Vulture Culture Film Screening of a short film about In Our Hearts:
Follow Vulture Culture on Facebook & Twitter Can garbage be used to foster community? That’s the question anarchist collective In Our Hearts asks as they create a Free Store and host free community dinners with food rescued from dumpsters, working to create connections between community members in Brooklyn’s legendary Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Their efforts are threatened by the elements and by unknown opponents who try to sabotage their work.
The film will be showing as part of a shorts program called “NYC Uncovered“, playing at 11:15am on Nov. 6th at NYU’s Kimmel Ctr. 4th Floor (Eisner Auditorium). Here’s a link to the Facebook invite for the event. Tickets are on sale now! http://vultureculturefilm.com
